Our FAQs

  • Closet Budgeting Type 1: Hang Off Wall System
Hanging sections mount off of the wall with the use of a metal cabinet hanging system fastened to studs. This helps reduce cost due to less materials being used with shorter verticals and no bottom shelves.
  • Closet Budgeting Type 2: Complete Floor Mounted System
All sections are mounted to the floor and attached at top with steel cabinet rail fastened to studs or metal brackets Shelving sections can hold large amounts of storage with different types of weight so floor support is necessary.
  • How much does an average closet cost?
The cost of a custom closet can vary widely depending on factors like the size of the closet, the materials used, the design complexity, and accessories added. Here's a general breakdown: Basic Customizations: For smaller projects like a reach in closet or basic improvements like hanging and shelving sections, costs can start from around $1,200 to $3,000 depending on what features and accessories you add. Mid-Range Custom Closets: These often involve walk-in closets, with features such as drawers, hampers, multiple hanging areas, and perhaps some specialized storage. Prices for these types of custom closets typically range from $3,000 to $5,000. High-End Custom Closets: For large walk-in closets with high-quality materials, custom design elements, and luxurious accessories like shoe carousels, built-in seating, or sophisticated lighting systems, costs can go from $5,000 to $10,000 or more.
  • Are your closet systems adjustable? Can I change my design down the road if I need to?
At Conquering Clutter, we understand that your storage needs may change over time. That's why our closet systems are designed to be fully adjustable, allowing you to reconfigure and customize your storage space as needed. With our commitment to providing flexible and functional storage solutions, you can feel confident in creating a design that works for you now and in the future.
  • If I order my closet today, when will I get it?
From the time of your final drawing approval and deposit, it takes about 3 to 5 weeks to install.
  • Can I take my system with me when I move?
We can take down your system if you're moving, make modifications to the new space, and reinstall from there.
  • Do you manufacture everything yourselves?
Everything is custom made for your storage space and needs.
  • How much experience do your designers have?
We have 25 years of experience in the organizational business and are involved with our employees training from beginning to end.
