Custom Closets & Cabinetry in Escondido, CA
Custom closets and cabinetry for Escondido homes, from historic houses in Old Escondido to newer homes in the hills.
Escondido has a little of everything. The Victorian and Craftsman homes in the Old Escondido Historic District were built when closets were small, or skipped altogether. Newer homes in neighborhoods like Felicita, Kit Carson and the hills around town have more room, but rarely the storage to match.
Because everything we build is made to your exact measurements, we can work with older walls that aren't perfectly square and add built-in wardrobes where there's no closet at all. For newer homes, we design walk-in and reach-in closets, garage cabinets, entertainment centers, home offices and pantries.
Here's how it works. We start with a free in-home consultation and measure your space. Our designers then put together your design and a free 3D rendering. When you're happy with it, we build every piece in our own shop, usually in about three weeks, and install it with our own crew, typically in one to two days.
We've been designing and building custom storage for 25+ years. We're family-owned and licensed (CA License No. 998842), and all of our cabinetry is covered by our limited lifetime warranty.

The Difference Is in the Craftsmanship
Designed Specifically for Your Home
No two homes—or homeowners—are the same. Every closet, garage system, entertainment center, and home office we create is thoughtfully designed around your space, your layout, and how you actually live, resulting in storage that looks built into your home from the start.
Precision Manufacturing
Your cabinetry is manufactured locally using advanced CNC technology that allows us to produce every component with exceptional accuracy and consistency. The result is beautifully crafted cabinetry designed for durability, strength, and a precise fit.
Professionally Installed by Our Team
Great design and manufacturing are only part of the process—installation is where the final quality truly comes to life. Our experienced in-house installation team takes the time to ensure every detail is right, from alignment and fit to trim and finishing touches. The result is cabinetry that looks seamless, refined, and truly built into your home.

BEST in HOME EXPERIENCE with a CONTRACTOR - from start to finish! We are thrilled with the soft close drawers and shelves. We especially love that our Microwave is now on a pull out shelf below in the cupboard below the counter, freeing up much needed countertop space!
What a great experience and pleasure working with Bob and Kathleen, owners of Conquering Clutter. Their people, product, service, and installation were superb! They also provided the best ideas and pricing for our situation out of 3 bids. (**Our home is 80+ years old and every drawer and shelf had a unique measurement.)
EXCELLENT RESPONSE TIME AND COMMUNICATION
* Bob and Kathleen went above and beyond to clearly communicate and work for our best interest.
* We emailed asking for a quote at 4:49 PM on Friday
* We received an immediate response that they could come on Sat (the next morning) or Monday
* Received our estimate the day after they were here
* Measurements were made the next day
* The following week the install was 99% completed in a day
INSTALLATION
Angel and Mark did the instillation and we couldn't have been happier with their skill and the care they took to protect our floors and counters and keep a clean work environment. We appreciated their excellent craftsmanship, communication, respect, and great work ethic.
